Random Stuff

Omg I'm writing this blog because my roommate and my friend want me to so here it goes: it's 2 days before I go home and I am so excited. One more full day of being here and then one test to go and then home!!!!! Last brunch is tomorrow and that's kind of sad but I am excited to actually be able to make my food and eat real food instead of the dining hall food, I mean it's good for school food but you can only have so much grilled cheese and crab. Tonight was great we watched the hangover and it's still funny the 6th time around. As I look around my dorm room it is funny because all 5of the people in the room have their laptops and it's just a really funny sight. I have come to the conclusion that I am going to loft my bed when I get back from winter break. So many people come to our room and hang out anyway it would give us more room. Anyway, I am extremely uncomfortable right now anyone who is in this room at the time will know what I'm talking about.

Home Stretch

6 days until Winter break!!!!!!! I am so excited to go home, I am ready. I know I will miss it here in Athens, but I am excited to see my family and friends back home. My sisters and I have not seen each other in months and I miss them so much! This week has gone by so fast, it's already almost Wednesday and soon I will be in the car on my way back home for 6 weeks!!! Finals week this week uggghhh, it really isn't too bad though I have 2 finals Thursday, 1 Friday and 1 Monday so it's pretty easy. Glee is back on thank God and this week's episode looks so funny! There's was a guy in 2 of my classes who looked just like Kurt and I was like omg can you be my friend??? Ok so I didn't really say that to him but I was thinking it and you would be too if you saw him. Happy almost winter break everyone!!!

Boring Boring Week

Hey guys! So this week has been really boring so far, like I really haven't done anything and it's unfortunate because the weather is so nice I should be taking advantage of it. But it will get more exciting tomorrow because tomorrow is Wednesday and Wednesday= GLEE!!! Woooooot I am in love with that show and everything that has to do with it. I recently made a text message sound that said: "Hello my name is Kurt Hummel and I'll be auditioning for the role of kicker." Ha best line ever! But other than that i really just want this week to be over. I'm excited for my parents to come this weekend, but I want it to be next week soooo bad! Like starting next Monday, people from all over start coming in for Halloween and next Wednesday the little kids come to the dorms to trick-or-treat! I'm so pumped for Halloween as I've been saying a lot but I'm just so excited to see what's gonna happen. We went to an informational meeting last night and the cops said that there will be upwards of like 300 some cops on campus, maybe more I'm not sure. I really wanna pet the horses though so that will be one of my goals for Halloween.

Homecoming Week

It's Homecoming Week!!! Although nothing really exciting goes on during the week here, we are playing Miami of Ohio in football on Saturday and it is a day game so we all won't freeze. I am excited because if and when we win, I can text the score to my sister who went to Miami not long ago. But yes it should be a fun weekend, as will be the next 3 weekends. We are so busy every single weekend! Lineup: This weekend: Homecoming weekend, Next weekend: Parents weekend, Weekend after that: HALLOWEEN!!! I am the most excited for halloween, although Alex cannot come for halloween, I am excited to be a flapper with Katie and I rented a sweet dress that fits me perfectly, I just hope it's not too cold that night!!! But yes Peter Pan and Wendy will have to wait til next year which is ok, I'd rather wait and be Wendy with Alex than anyone else :)

Birthdays and Bad hookah

Ok so tonight my friends and I went out for our friend Erin's 19th Birthday! We called it an erinversary because it was celebrating how many years erin had been around and we appreciate that she is still alive :) so on this humid, rainy night in Athens what do we do? Well we went to a shiny diner place that we called shiny diner place because we did not know the name of it, but all 6 of us sat down to order. I got a chicken tender salad, and boy was it good. It was big though, I really did not want that much chicken tender and salad together, I think everyone who was there can back me up when I say that those chicken pieces were pretty darn big to be in a salad. Erin got a milkshake and we all took bites of it which was kind of her for sharing!

After dinner, we needed our weekly supply of hookah, so we went to the local hookah place and ordered Rose hookah. It sounded pretty cool so we thought, hey let's try it! It started out great and we were enjoying the rose, but toward the end we all started coughing and our throats were very dry and hurt. Something went wrong with the hookah, I don't know what but I've never had it where it hurt that bad to inhale it before. Glad to know it wasn't only me who felt weird after it.

But yes, our search for a party failed because it was raining and no one was having a party outside, so after searching for a while, we went to Donkey, a local coffee shop and chatted for about an hour or so then we stood in the rain singing lion king/rent/who knows what until we decided what to do. Overall it was a good night I'd say, hopefully next weekend will be a sunny homecoming weekend and we can all have a great dry time :)

25 days and counting

So in 25 days it will be Halloween. I am so impatient, I just want it to be Halloween because I get to see my friends from home and it's like the greatest holiday ever at OU. I asked my mom to make my costume for me which she has not done in oh about 5 years. It's not that hard though, I just hope she can get the size approx. right to fit me and I won't be at home so it'll be kind of hard. But I think Heather and Johnny will make the cutest Mr. and Mrs. Claus, I really hope they do that and Alex and I finally get to live out our dream roles, not on stage but this is good for now, as Peter Pan and Wendy. I am so excited, we have watched Peter Pan idk how many times and I can't wait to share being those characters with her. I need to brush up on my british accent because I mean come on you can't be Wendy Darling without being British!!! So I will be talking in an accent all night haha I'm excited because I love being British. So I will be counting down the days until Halloween and I'm sure everyone else will too because I am so excited and cannot wait.

Back in Athens

I'm back in Athens once again after a fun weekend at home! Wow it went by fast, it seems like we got home and left. But the band show was fantastic as always and Hudson rocked it as usual. I am so happy I got to see everyone, really it was only Alex cause everyone else I had seen lol but we saw some people from band who were surprised to see us. I also went to school to get my yearbook and talked to my old history and government teachers who were like what are you doing here? haha but yeah I talked to my history teacher for like half an hour about school, he's so much fun haha he still has my senior picture in his desk drawer, which is kinda weird lol but he's cool. Anyway I'm happy to be back in Athens, I missed it a lot more than I expected to actually. Oh and I brought lights for my dorm room and I put them up today!!!! It's so pretty :) Like i feel like I'm in Hawaii when I'm laying in bed lol because i have the pretty lights, my hawaiian poster and like 5 lais haging on the wall. I'll post a picture of it because it really is fantastic haha.
